(Scroll down for video) Three men were arrested on a charge of murder after killing a teenage boy because they were jealous of his girlfriend, police in the United Kingdom said.
Now, 19-year-old George Thomson of Carlisle, and 19-year-old Brahnn Finley of Carlisle, have been convicted of murder.
20-year-old Daniel Johnston of Carlisle, has been convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to serve 10 years in prison.
Thomson was sentenced to serve 27 years in prison, while Finley was sentenced to serve 14 years in prison.
According to the police, officers were called to a cemetery on Manor Road, by a member of the public who had found a male body.
The body was later identified as 14-year-old Jordan Watson of Ridley Road. A pathologist determined that the cause of death was multiple wounds to the head and neck caused by a sharp instrument.
A court heard that the boy suffered a savage and brutal attack after being lured to the cemetery by Thomson, motivated by jealousy over Watson’s 14-year-old girlfriend with whom Thomson was attempting to have a relationship.
Thomson had an obsession with Watson’s 14-year-old girlfriend and would stop at nothing to have her for himself.
Finley agreed to help Thomson out and he took his best friend Johnston along to carry out the murder.
